About the Course

B.Sc. Radiology and Imaging Technology (RIT) is a dynamic undergraduate program that prepares students to become skilled professionals in the field of diagnostic imaging. Radiologic technologists are responsible for capturing accurate images of the human body using X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other imaging modalities, which play a pivotal role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The program combines classroom instruction with practical training in hospital radiology departments, providing students with deep knowledge and technical competence.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pass in 12th standard (HSC)
  • Candidates with science-based diploma qualifications may be considered for lateral entry (subject to university norms)

  • Students complete 12 months of intensive clinical internship in radiology departments of hospitals and diagnostic centers. They work with real patients and master imaging techniques under the guidance of radiologists and senior technologists.
